- Members of the Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) were seen at a workshop for newly appointed diplomats in Lilongwe, Malawi, shortly after the government had expressed intentions to dismantle the organization.
- Some HRDC leaders, like Luke Tembo and Reverend MacDonald Sembereka, have been assigned to represent Malawi in different countries, while the organization remains committed to its mission of holding the government accountable and fighting for the welfare of the people.
