- Senator Godswill Akpabio has appealed a court ruling that ordered the recall of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to the Senate after her suspension was deemed excessive.
- Akpabio argues that the matter falls under the internal affairs of the National Assembly and should not be subject to judicial interference, and he is seeking to overturn the judgment and dismiss the case for lack of jurisdiction.
