- Chief Joseph Ilonze has petitioned the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association, accusing three lawyers of causing a leadership crisis in the Peoples’ Club of Nigeria/International.
- Ilonze alleges that the lawyers have been using their profession to harass and intimidate club members, leading to their expulsion from the club.
- Additionally, a court judgment ordered the trio to pay Ilonze N5 million for violating his rights, and Ilonze is seeking further action from the NBA to address their behavior.
