- The Government of Tanzania has named the Dodoma Outer Ring Road after Dr Akinwumi Adesina, the outgoing President of the African Development Bank, in recognition of his support for the country's development projects.
- President Samia Suluhu Hassan made the announcement during an inspection tour of the road project, which was funded by the AfDB, praising Adesina for his leadership and contributions to Tanzania's infrastructure development.
