- National Bank of Malawi (NBM) plc has acquired a 51% stake in Akiba Commercial Bank plc (ACB) in Tanzania for $7.31 million to expand regionally.
- NBM CEO Macfussy Kawawa believes this acquisition will benefit both banks and enhance services for Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Tanzania.
