- He sustained injuries and is currently receiving treatment at the Baptist Medical Centre in Nalerigu.
- This incident is one of several involving political figures during the current campaign season, including accidents with the National Organiser for the NPP in the Ashanti region and the tragic death of the Deputy Bono East Regional Youth Organiser of the NDC in a collision on the Kintampo-Techiman Highway.

Wow, that's a lot of accidents recently involving political figures. Almost too many to be a coincidence. Or it could just be 2020.
