- The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is planning to take legal action against Delta State Governor and others who defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) to reclaim what they call the party's stolen mandate.
- The party also appointed a new leader to oversee reorganization efforts in Delta State and set dates for its next National Executive Committee meeting and National Convention in 2025.
