- The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is appealing a court decision that canceled part of its election guidelines for the 2027 general election, specifically a deadline for political parties to submit their membership lists.
- INEC argues that the court made errors in its ruling and is asking for the judgment to be overturned while the appeal is considered.
