- Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has promised to support President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections, stating that the APC party is strong in Kebbi.
- This commitment was made after a meeting with key party members, despite the recent defection of a former PDP gubernatorial candidate to another party.
