- Atiku Abubakar, a presidential candidate from the African Democratic Congress, has filed a lawsuit to disqualify President Bola Tinubu from the 2027 election due to issues with his NYSC discharge certificate.
- The case is currently stalled because Atiku's lawyer has not been able to serve Tinubu with the legal documents, and the court has adjourned the matter until September 28.
