- Datti Baba-Ahmed, a former Labour Party vice-presidential candidate, believes that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar could have won the 2027 presidency if he had supported Peter Obi in the 2023 elections.
- He argues that if Atiku had been patient and offered his support to younger candidates like Obi, similar to how Bola Tinubu has done in the past, he would have secured a stronger position for himself in the future.
