Uganda to now teach Chinese in schools

- The Ugandan government has chosen 35 secondary schools to teach Chinese language due to increased trade and friendship with China.
- The language will be compulsory for Senior One and Senior Two students and optional for others, with plans to train more teachers and introduce a bachelor's degree course at Makerere University.
