- Mambe Churchill Nanje, a Cameroonian techie, created Njorku, a job search engine for Africans, despite facing challenges like not having a computer or internet at the start.
- Njorku has helped over 2 million users across 11 African countries find job opportunities conveniently, and Nanje aims to address unemployment in Africa through his platform.
Mambe Churchill Nanje owner of Njorku. Is the best news i have had to read today. Judging from the fact that, startups are difficult in African countries. At 33 years old, he has made a great deal. I am a software engineer here as well, trying to make way through my own idea. I am still way younger and i believe with time and more sacrifices i can break more grounds as well.
Alas! There's no limitation in this life. Nanje, another testimony that small beginnings eventually pay off, if one doesn't relent. I like the way stories about tech are coming up often now in Africa. We are getting somewhere. However, I think what is expedient now is for the Cameroon government or a giant in the private sector to partner with Nanje's njorku.
Very pleased for Nanje. His passion and unwavering focus has finally shone through and his Njorku platform is a really good invention at this time. One thing i have found out in life is that passion never fails, it gives up till it succeeds and his story is one of dogged determination to be better and i know this is just the starting point for him. I am inspired as a music producer and gospel singer to continue doing my thing even when there are obstacles that seem insurmountable but at the end, God by my side, i'll breakthrough like Nanje too.
