- Toyota Tsusho Corporation has acquired a license for a vehicle assembly business in Ghana, marking the first time a Japanese company has done so in the country.
- The new plant in Tema will produce 1,300 Toyota Hilux pickup trucks annually, with plans to start operations in mid-2021 and hire around 50 employees.
