- Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, stated that while he supports President Bola Tinubu's re-election in 2027, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will still run candidates in other elections.
- He emphasized that the "rainbow coalition" he is part of is not an alliance with the All Progressives Congress (APC) but a way to gather support for Tinubu from various political parties.
