- Tanimu Turaki, the factional National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, has appealed a court's decision to issue a warrant for his arrest after he missed a court appearance related to a charge of providing false information to the police.
- His legal team claims his absence was due to a sudden hospital visit and has filed an application to stay the execution of the warrant while also seeking to quash the charge.
