- Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the incumbent governor and APC candidate, won the Ondo State Governorship election with 366,781 votes, defeating Ajayi Agboola of the PDP who got 117,845 votes.
- The election was peaceful, and the results were declared by Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, the Returning Officer of INEC.
