- Legal counsel Michael Numa has asked the National Assembly to follow a court order to reinstate Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who was suspended for addressing the Senate from the wrong seat.
- Despite the Senate President appealing the decision, Numa emphasized that the court's ruling must be respected, and Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan plans to return to her duties on July 22, 2025, with the option of taking more legal action if needed.
