- Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, previously suspended from the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has started a new ministry in Lagos called The Family Fellowship, inviting people to join them at the Civic Centre for services.
- The new ministry was launched after Pastor Iluyomade and his wife faced criticism and suspension for hosting a lavish celebration shortly after the tragic death of a prominent church member, Herbert Wigwe, and his family.
