- The Anambra State Government renamed the Government House Mini City to "Light House Awka" to align with the state's slogan, "Light of the Nation," during the 10th Anambra State Executive Council meeting.
- The state government also initiated more capital projects and institutional reforms to enhance governance and infrastructure development across the state, including establishing the Anambra State Electricity Regulatory Commission and awarding various projects like constructing a factory warehouse and extending the Nnewi Industrial line.
