- Democracy for the Citizen Party (DCP) leaders claim the government prevented former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua from attending a thanksgiving ceremony in Kisa East by blocking his flight arrangements.
- Gachagua confirmed these claims during a phone call to the event, stating that all his booked flights were not allowed to operate, but he plans to visit Kisa East in 2026 despite these challenges.
