- Former Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu has been ordered by the court to forfeit Ksh131 million in assets to the State, which is a relief compared to the Ksh1.9 billion he was initially facing.
- The court found that he and his wife did not provide enough evidence to prove that their properties were acquired legally, leading to the seizure of some of their assets.
