- The Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, announced that 6,200 teachers who have not been paid for eight months will soon receive their staff IDs and back pay, as approved by the Cabinet.
- Additionally, the government will release GH¢1.1 billion to cover unpaid salaries for both teachers and health workers, following protests for their overdue payments.
