- Minister Felix Kwakye Ofosu explained that Minister Naa Momo Lartey's late arrival for her swearing-in ceremony was due to a family emergency outside of Accra, and not her fault.
- President Mahama had a busy schedule and had planned to swear in six ministers, but due to delays in parliamentary approvals, they proceeded with the initially approved ministers, with Minister Lartey informed of the situation and encouraged to attend if possible.
