- The debate over President John Mahama using his brother's private jet instead of a state-owned aircraft has caused controversy.
- The President's spokesperson, Kwakye, defended the decision, citing safety, security, and financial reasons, likening it to using a spouse's car when the official vehicle is unavailable.
- Despite criticism, Kwakye emphasized that the choice was practical and cost-effective, urging for the issue to be seen as a temporary measure rather than a cause for public outrage.
