- VW Ghana has started commercial production of five Volkswagen models in its Accra plant, including Tiguan, Amarok Pickup, Passat, Polo, and Teramont.
- The CEO of VW Ghana, Mr. Jeffrey Oppong Peprah, announced this during a visit with the Minister of Trade, Alan Kyeremateng, who presented a Bonafide Vehicle Assembler Certificate to the company and promised government support for its development.
