Real-time that did not look a penalty. Slowing things down can always make things look worse than they are. Either way, PSG did themselves no favors with all the mistakes they made this game. 2 nil up with away goals and you can't close it? My word
This is the classic David vs Goliath story. No one gave Man Utd the chance. A team missing 10 of its best players and having to overturn a first leg 2-0 home defeat which has never been done in the champions league before. They did it and in the most dramatic fashion possible. There is a reason this club is one of the most supported clubs in the world. Their history, the stories and all those legends of the game. I was glad last night to see a state-funded club disgraced in such a manner. Man Utd is back and all is well again.
Ole! Ole!! Was the song everywhere. You have to give Man Utd team this one no doubt. With a depleted team, it appeared to be a more tougher challenge posing a higher mountain to climb. It was shocking for everyone to believe considering the situations with the squad and the absence of the big players. But believe, Man Utd never stopped believing. And luckily for them, with Ole at the wheel the believe was at another level. Re-creating records and histories with every chance available to him.
When Rashford stood tall for the penalty, i was only expecting one thing, GOAL. But i just couldn't wrap my head around how Rash used to play his PK, then after it happened it was his very first for the club. Such confidence, such composure, facing the veteran Buffon, and burying it in style. You just have to give it to him for not disappointing and for the whole team for keeping their heads till the head. It was a lucky night as well for the debutants. Now, they are in the history books, should be so good for their growth and confidence. #OleAtTheWheel
