- Four leading presidential candidates in Malawi have been invited to participate in a series of debates ahead of the upcoming elections.
- The debates will be televised and moderated by Reverend Patrick Semphere, with the goal of allowing candidates to present their visions for the country and defend their policies.
- The debates have been organized by a task force consisting of various media outlets and civil society organizations to promote non-violence and informed decision-making among voters.
