China has been contributing greatly to the African economy in the recent past. E-commerce being Africa’s greatest earner, China’s engagement in this tech industry will undoubtedly boost the economy not only in Africa but also in China. At a time where internet usage is approaching half the African population, this could be the perfect time for China to act on the African tech industry.

China is making moves in a market that many others have not dared to. Africa's ecommerce market is huge and China is positioning itself for a future that will transform not only the continent but China as well. Jack Ma is a name not strange to many Africans anymore. His commitment to encouraging business models and driving ecommerce in Africa is unrivaled. His company Alibaba is subtly marking its name in the marketplaces where Amazon and co have not dared venture. Africa has a lot to offer in coming years as internet and digital service expand, those who don't see this now might regret it later.

Technological innovation has taken the world by its neck and it is fast becoming the next abode for new billionaires... E-commerce isn't something so new or fresh in Africa. In Nigeria particularly, there are a lot of startups who have already adopted e-commercr systems and management software to drive their business core. Which in turn has inevitably improved their business sales and marketing and as well place them above most competitors. E-commercr is the way to go no doubt, so seeing China targeting a host of or some certain African nations is no surprise just that I didn't see it happening this fast. I then believe for technological innovations like this to make stands, such country or organization needs near to adequate power supply which is the major problem of most countries in Africa especially Nigeria. E-commerce is a good idea for me. If the country play their cards right with the Chinese.
