- The Central Committee will support Edgar Lungu to run for the PF presidency again, according to Vice-President Given Lubinda.
- Lubinda also mentioned that President Hakainde Hichilema benefited from a court ruling that prevented Lungu from running for future elections, and criticized the UPND for trying to amend the Constitution through bill 10.
