- The Green Party Zambia has rejoined the Tonse Alliance, now led by Brian Mundubile, after resolving past internal conflicts.
- Party president Peter Sinkamba believes Mundubile is the strongest candidate to challenge the current UPND government, and other groups have also joined the alliance.
