- Brian Molefe has been appointed as the new Treasurer General of the MK Party, replacing Mpiyakhe Limba, as part of a leadership reshuffle by party leader Jacob Zuma.
- The party also removed Colleen Makhubele from her role as Chief Whip and thanked her for her service, while Mmabatho Mokoena-Zondi will temporarily take over her position.
