- An IEC official in KwaZulu-Natal accused of stealing voting material during the 2024 general polls has been found not guilty by the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate's Court.
- The court acquitted Musawenkosi Mnikathi of charges related to transporting voting ballots without police supervision, which were brought by the Umkhonto Wesizwe Party, who accused him of rigging the votes.
