IFP to vote in favour of national budget on Wednesday
  • The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) will vote in favor of the national budget, which is good news for the African National Congress (ANC) as the IFP is the third-largest party in the GNU.
  • The IFP president stated that they are supporting the budget, not the ANC, because it is the best choice for economic growth and includes measures like increased grants and zero-rated food items to help cushion the impact of the 0.5% VAT increase.
