- The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) is worried about President Bola Tinubu's plan to create state police through a constitutional amendment, claiming his administration lacks the trust and credibility needed for such a significant change.
- They believe that before making decisions on state police, the upcoming election should test the government's acceptance by the public, and they urge the government to focus on improving security for citizens.
