- Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule mentioned that the Progressives Governors’ Forum cannot intervene in the ministerial nomination issue of former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai, who was rejected by the National Assembly in August 2023.
- Sule clarified that El-Rufai is still a member of the ruling party, and the nomination and rejection process is solely the prerogative of the President and the National Assembly.
