- The African Democratic Congress (ADC) caucus in the House of Representatives is demanding the removal and prosecution of Professor Joash Amupitan, the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, due to concerns about his impartiality and alleged partisan actions ahead of the 2027 elections.
- They believe his behavior has undermined the integrity of the electoral process and contributed to a leadership crisis within their party, which they claim could prevent them from participating in the upcoming elections.
