- Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech) received the Corporate Merit Award from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria for producing many certified and chartered accountants in Nigeria.
- The award was given at ICAN's 2025 Award and Dinner Night in Lagos, where the Rector of Yabatech expressed gratitude and promised to continue contributing to the accounting profession.
