- A group within the Peoples Democratic Party, supported by Minister Nyesom Wike, has confirmed Abdulrahman Mohammed as National Chairman and Senator Samuel Anyanwu as National Secretary, along with a 19-member National Working Committee.
- About 2,500 delegates endorsed these leaders and other national officers during a meeting in Abuja.
