- The Transmission Company of Nigeria is rebuilding three collapsed towers along the 330kV Kainji–Birnin Kebbi transmission line with the help of three contractors to restore full transmission capacity quickly.
- To minimize the impact on Kaduna Electric and its customers, alternative supply routes have been activated, providing between 6 to 7 megawatts of power to affected states like Sokoto and Birnin Kebbi.
- The company is working diligently to rebuild the towers and restore normal power supply, aiming to maintain the integrity and reliability of the national power grid.
