- Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced that the price of rice has significantly decreased, with him ready to sell locally produced rice for N57,000 to N58,000 per 50kg bag, reflecting an improvement in the country's inflation.
- He credited this price drop to macroeconomic reforms and the Central Bank of Nigeria's efforts, while also highlighting Lagos's commitment to supporting the banking sector through infrastructure and security initiatives.
