- Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the President, urged traditional rulers in Ondo State to help end female genital mutilation and tackle health issues affecting women, such as HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B. She also announced plans to distribute professional kits to nurses and midwives and provide sanitary pads to young girls in rural areas as part of her Renewed Hope Initiative.
- The Chairman of the State Council of Obas praised Mrs. Tinubu's efforts and pledged the traditional institution's support through prayers for the success of her husband's administration.
