- Candidates for chairmanship positions in four local council areas in Lagos State emerged through consensus at the ongoing Local Government primaries of the All Progressives Congress.
- The voting process was peaceful, and the delegates were urged to be patient and orderly by the deputy governor of the state, Dr Obafemi Hamzat.
