- Professor Muhammad Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, shared that an independent assessment was done to evaluate the quality of care in 20 tertiary hospitals in Nigeria.
- The assessment was conducted by the National Tertiary Hospitals Standards Committee, established based on the National Health Act of 2014, to improve healthcare quality and focus on serving Nigerians better.
