- The Federal High Court in Abuja adjourned a case filed by Dangote Refinery against the Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority and others until January 30.
- Dangote Refinery is seeking to stop the issuance of oil import licenses to certain oil marketers, claiming violations of the Petroleum Industry Act, while the marketers argue that granting exclusive control to Dangote could harm the economy and lead to supply shortages.
