- Residents in Gatunga, Tharaka Nithi county did not want to listen to Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichung’wah, and they walked out on him while he was speaking in front of President William Ruto.
- This happened after a similar incident in Ol Kalou, Nyandarua county, where Ichung’wah was heckled and had to cut his speech short.
