- A student and a recent graduate from Kibabii University were arrested by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission for pretending to be EACC directors and conning people by promising to stop corruption in exchange for money.
- The two suspects were caught trying to extort a bribe of Ksh150,000 from individuals during a fake raid on a National Government-Constituency Development Fund office, and are currently being held for further investigation by the EACC.
