- The Kenya Wildlife Service recently captured a mature lioness believed to be the mother of two other lions that were roaming in the Rongai area.
- The lioness had distinct injuries, possibly from encounters with people, and was treated by the KWS veterinary team before being released back into Nairobi National Park.
- Residents are advised to report any sightings of stray wild animals to the KWS toll-free number to prevent human-wildlife conflicts.
