- The government has made it easier for parents to add their children to the new health insurance scheme by simplifying the registration process through the SHA portal.
- To add a child below six months old, parents need to provide a birth notification or certificate, a passport-size photo, and inform the Health Authority 14 days in advance for approval.
- Additionally, spouses can be added to the scheme by ensuring they are registered on SHA, providing their national identity number and first name, and confirming the need for a marriage certificate or affidavit.
