- Kwaku Ansah-Asare, a former director of the Ghana School of Law, believes that the Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) committee established by President John Dramani Mahama is unnecessary and could be misused for political purposes.
- He suggested that existing anti-corruption institutions in Ghana, like the Office of the Special Prosecutor and the Economic and Organised Crime Office, are better equipped to handle such cases and warned that ORAL might exceed its authority, potentially causing problems for the government.
